Using up odds and ends

You wouldn’t think so, judging by the picture in the background, but once again I have managed to get inspired by my beautiful new lace book. Honestly, that book is the best buy ever!

The end result should be a nice wee neck scarf. I can’t wait to see how it develops. This wool is one of the ones I got from Scrilla some time back and I’m so excited to have it on the needles. I have only one ball, so I’ll have to dive into my stash to complete the project, but trust me, that won’t present too much of a problem!

Christmas presents

Ok, so it was rather more like Christmas day in the evening…However, all the presents from near and far have been opened and there are smiles all around. Thank you, thank you and THANK YOU!

It is incredible that I can be that lucky EVERY year. I think I got all that I wanted – and I know there are more presents to come later in the week!

A wee tast of Christmas

The Queen’s Christmas speech on the telly;
loads of lovely presents;
a wee drop of sherry; and
all of that in the company of your grown up kids.
What more can a person ask for on Christmas day?

Merry Christmas everyone

A wee test

Kamal was hungry and eat Punky’s guts for lunch!

Punky carried on smiling - regardless.

Punky carried on smiling – regardless and Kamal went home with a full belly!

The end!

Back to the good old pattern…

knitwit.jpgBack to the old and trusted cardigan pattern again, after my Bunnykins exploit. It’s the one to use when using up odds and ends. I am sure someone will be considerate enough to have a baby girl at some point, seeing as I have the gift ready.

Heritage column roofsOn my daily trip through the industrial estate I came upon these beautiful “heritage column roofs”. What a treat – on a cold, rainy morning!

Autumn’s here…

It seems autumn is really here. The leaves are beginning to fall off the trees and the temperature is dropping. I love this time of the year. Time to start thinking about those decorations up in the loft…

Bunnykins got company

Filed under: teeweewonders — teeweewonders @ 1:17

Bunnykins got company from a Jelly Beanie. I love the wee hat with the roll up, it works really well. I look forward to using the pattern again and again, until I find a different one that takes my fancy. (“,)

Classic Bambino

Filed under: teeweewonders — teeweewonders @ 11:56

Bunnykins Bambino ClassicI love knitting and at the moment I’m knitting designs from the “Classic Bambino” book. The patterns are really good. They have such a good fit. A wee pale blue “Bunnykins” jersey with navy rabbits is completed and is lying here looking at me whilst I quickly knit a wee “Jelly Beanie” to complete the set. Maybe I should add a pair of socks as well?
